After a four hour journey through snow and ice to Stoke for the final concert of 1009 I arrive home very happy with all of the musicians who have contributed to a very good season.

Last night Harlequin Brass produced a polished and professional performance for the 600 strong audience which was being broadcast live on local radio.

NSWO finished their year with the famous Kidsophonic which along with a successful peformance in West Bridgeford rounds off a great year for that group.

Phoenix have played three concerts and a lot more sessions busking outside shops in Leeds. A lot of commitment and quality was shown in a hectic schedule.

YWO had a good year of consolidation and some excellent playing throughout the year was very encouraging.

My very best wishes to all the hardworking players who made the year so successful. To all the organisers and all of the helpers.
