Last week the sun shone nicely on the Phoenix Concert Band's appearance at Harlow Carr. The group turned out in a happy mood and welcomed back former principal clarinet, Paul Moffat who appeared to enjoy the event.

It is a credit to the group that they played really well for an outdoor concert. They were relaxed, musical and confident. It was a fitting end to a very good progressive year for the group.

There is no limit to what can be achieved here and I only hope that the spirit of progress can be maintained in the autumn when we all return.
